What did I buy? Color me PINK baby

My new baby...I am in L-O-V-E. When I walked in and saw that hint of pink out the corner of my eye, that was it. I made a call to my Honey ASAP. A lady was kind enough to offer to take a picture of me and the chair to send to him because I had on slacks the same color pink with a black turtleneck and she thought it was cute that we matched. So he got the picture and thought it was nice and said bring it home! Well you don't have to tell me twice Babe. I think it will add a burst of color to my office.

As yall know I love my office and never seem to stop shopping for it. I guess because its my room to do with what I want, what I love...I don't have to consider my Babes taste, and in that I am free to do me in that room..I am lucky enough though that he loves what I have done in the room thus far.

Get It Girl (Nina Garcia)

Nina Garcia is my pick for "Get It Girl" of the moment. I love the fact that she has style, and power in the world of fashion. With Elle now in her past, and Marie Claire her future as fashion director, things can only get better. Fashion stalkers of course knew of her long before her Project Runway debut along side Heidi Klum and Michael Kors, but the show is really what gave her celebrity a boost. She is now an author of two great books that I even purchased called ONE HUNDRED, and THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK OF STYLE. They are fashion bibles for a woman's must have fashion items. She is a wife and mother of a toddler which alone gives her a thumbs up from me. I look forward to watching her vision unfold in Marie Claire, and her non apologetic opinion on project runway. Get It Girl!

This Back In...

I missed this table the first time around, but never again.

I have placed my order and it should be out for delivery in March

or Mid April. It was a very popular table. Glad to see Target do the right thing and bring it back. That means the consumer was HEARD!

It came today. I am trying it out at different lengths to see what is "proper". Remember I am 5'1 so right now its looking me in the face. Dang, am I that short. Black on Black, done...plus

Easy as pie! IT was my first.



I will admit, I am not crazy about the fabric, but I could not find anything modern. I was pissed. I left the furniture store where there were a zillion choices, but I wasnt thinking of this chair. So when I got closer to home and found 2 fabric stores, it was like a country explosion! So This was ok. 1 yard was on sale for $9



Oh..I forgot to post..I ordered this from Tarjay. Its a little taller then I wanted it to be, but its really pretty. Plus it was a steal. $99 plus free shipping, plus a $5.00 coupon that I found on retailmenot.

Help me!

You cant see the writing in red because I couldnt get the picture big enought. What do I do with this wall. The small box with the arrow is where the rip came from after trying to take them down. Should I leave them up and cover them with a big something? Leave them up? I just dont know. I really need help in deciding. What would you do?

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For!

My Honey did a wonderful job! Doesn't my office look fabulous? The green just comes alive with the contrast of the black furniture and accessories. The only thing I am waiting for is my light plate to dry (as you can see next to the Diana Ross pictures) as it was sprayed black. I also found that great green candle at Homegoods today. The only changes that I think I will make are the removal of the black leather cube, putting something on the big wall where the mirror plates are, and adding more magazine boxes for storage.

Thanks again to everyone that helped with color, gave opinions, and told me that it would be okay when I got stressed during this decorating project. NOW! ON TO THE NEXT ROOM! HAHAHAHA....OPINIONS?

One LAST Thing~Until I paint

Okay...I am DONE! Until I paint. I went to TJ Maxx and found this chair. I love it. It was only $129 and I feel happy with that. It looks great. You should not see anymore posts about this room until I am DONE with paint.

Introducing my GLAM ROOM/OFFICE in progress

This is my new project. It is the glam room. I am pulling from all things bling and old Hollywood. I have black and white photos of Marilyn Monroe and Diana Ross. I have frames that are blinged out, and mirrored items. My design issue is the color of the wall, and panels. I also need a rug and cant figure it out. I am hoping to get some help from a wonderful blogger who does these great idea boards for only $10.00! You can beat that. Check her blog out.
