Loving Color

I see not many of you like the whole. Hint1 and Hint 2 of my project. Sorry. But I waiting for my last two chairs which came on Thursday. The room is not totally done yet. I still need to find that perfect something for the wall, and pick out a rug. Remember I actually won a 5x7 group of tiles from Flor a while back and still need to claim my prize.

The color I painted on the wall is Newburg Green by Benjamin Moore. I posted here a while back that I love the color, and it was a no brainer for me. The color just comes alive in the space. I walk in and see the color, and just smile. The scotch blue painters tape was my best friend. I have always liked the blue tape and it left me happy.

***(I took some photos with flash on just to show the color. I took these later in the day so the color did not appear 100% true without the flash)****

DSC_0119 This photo really shows the color well. The brown tones of the table, and the pendant light just all merge so well with this color. Its so jewel, so city in the burbs. DSC_0117

So hope these photos were worth the wait. I love them. This room has come a long way. All it took was some Benjamin Moore Paint and a West Elm Table to spark my flame. What are your thoughts on the color?

XOXOX,

Hi Tam,
I think my favorite part of the room is the light fixture. It's beautiful. The color is also perfect for a little nook. The window treatments practically shine in contrast with the blue. I think the table looks best the way it is in the majority of the photos - the other way might seem a little crammed in. I can't wait to see what you pick for the wall...I'm imagining something modern, maybe bold geographic shapes colored with gray and bright yello! Very impressive. Inspiring!

That color is fantastic! I did a similar shade of blue in my living dining area. The West Elm pendant looks great with it too!! Great job :)

Looks good, love the dark paint color. Very Pretty, I like the table lengthwise with the window, looks like it fits the space makes the room look larger. Great Job.

Are you going to hang artwork of a mirror in there? A Mini artwall would look really good mixed with smaller round mirrors...just a thought

Love the paint color! And especially the light fixture!

I like the table in the original position. Can't wait to see the finished look.

I love the table the way you have it, and I love the table too...I also love the light fixture, and the the color of the wall is fabulous. I have seen a higher vase at CB2 that would compliment the Banana Palm Leaf, so it will stand up higher...Your thoughts?

Love it! I do think the light fixture is perfection w this wall color! And I'm loving the panels! Oh and prefer the table the main way you showed it-not turned.
DO you think that dandelion art from Z would work on the wall?

this looks like it could be at West Elm! You did such a great job and it's been a pleasure to see this space evolve.

My vote is for the original position of the table.

hey dhalia...dinner might go down on sunday. depends on if those kids wash dishes...my grandmother taught me a lesson once. she cooked and i did not wash dishes, and let them sit overnight so she ended up washing them. so as a punishment she didnt cook, which meant i didnt eat...I LEARNED MY LESSON...so lets see if they get the same message.
