Howdy Folks. My vaca is over and things are getting back to normal around the fort. Except for luggage that is sitting around UNPACKED. We visited Michigan, and yes I took about 20 magazines, and three books. All of which I DID NOT TOUCH. My son asked me why do I keep taking them on our trips, and I never read them. My intentions were good though. I did get to visit Homegoods in Utica which was a horrible experience. From RUDE ASSOCIATES, to RUDE ASSOCIATES. So I left with nothing from them because I refused to spend my money with such bad service. But overall the MI was pretty good to us. I just hate I missed out on beautiful CANADA across the way.

Every since the day I saw the preview catalog from West Elm, I knew that I loved this color and had to have it. I am not sure where it will end up in my home, but it will end up somewhere. I love the richness of the blue, but with very subtle tones of green. In my opinion this color can be taken into fall with dark wood tones, and transitioned in spring with cool colored accessories, and accent furniture. Well done West Elm for highlighting this great color by Benjamin Moore.
The possibilities are endless with this beautiful color.
An actual exterior painted in Newburg Green.
I am going to run this color by hubby and see what he thinks of this in our bedroom. I really didn’t want to go this dark in the bedroom, but I am in love with this color. Stay tuned for photos of my new dilemma.
Thoughts?

Great color and I'm with you on rude associates. It's a no buy from me. Welcome back!
I have been intrigued with this color lately, too. I really love it paired with hot pink or lemon yellow! Go for it in the bedroom - could be sexy!
Welcome home, T! Too bad you dealt with rude associates--email the manager or call.
I'm loving those photos you posted, too!
That color is so pretty. I think it would look great in a bedroom, or a bathroom.
I hate rude associates! I usually ask them, if they are having a bad day..
I have the deep blue in your "With White" picture in my master bedroom. I left the molding and the ceiling white. It made it look bigger. I was so surprised! I love it. I say go for it.

I love blue and orange. Looky looky those are Cavaliers colors back in the day. I knew I loved them for some odd reason.

I just recently had my room painted a dark blue similar to this and I absolutely LOVE it! It's so so pretty.

this would be perfect in the bedroom, very "moody" but not too dark.
Gald you had a good vacation, the blue would look so lovely with your bed ---
the "With White" images was in a showhouse here in Atlanta. My aunt and I sat in there for about 10 minutes talking about how much we loved it! So funny to see it on your blog!
