My Home Office

Saturday morning was so bright and sunny. I opened the panels, and said today is a picture perfect day. So I took a few snaps with the light shining brightly on my room. Every photo looks 1000% better where there is natural DAY LIGHT. Looking up at the memories on this wall with an old issue of Domino, and a glass of tea set it off for me.

This room is easily attainable, and can be done with a small budget, and local stores items.

**I am happy to announce that my office was a winner of a WEST ELM contest**

Girl I wish I had an extra room for an office, for now it's my little corner in the living room!

I love the parsons desk as well! That's on my list of things to buy for my new condo. Not sure if it'll be a mini or a regular yet. But I love the look

I have always loved the West Elm Parsons table. I had planned to get one for my own home office, however I ended up buying a black lacquer dining table with the same lines as the Parsons desk. I bought it along with one of the dining chairs from Target when they use to have their Global Bazaar event every year. There is so much space for my computer, printer, and anything I am working on. I LOVE IT!

I love your sense of style, I too have an inspiration board full of people and images that inspire me. And I also agree the parson desk is sick, I have a huge L shaped desk that I'm trying to talk the honey into putting into to storage so I can have a parsons desk.

I sincerely love your style! I have been checking in here and there in a non-comittal way and had secretly loved every minute. I finally started following you! It all started with the shoe posts. I saw a pair of black Lamb heels you ordered from Ru La La and so began my love for TamStyles. THANK YOU for sharing :)

Oh my gosh, I've loved the parsons desk from west elm for ever! I've only really seen it displayed in the polished white, but I absolutely love what you've done with the black, it looks fantastic! What green paint is that?

Charlotte said...

I love your blog! The office is great. I love how incorporate black with the picture frames, the desk, and the bookcase. I painted my trim black but am now second guessing the decision as it was already a small room and now it looks smaller. Anyway, I was wondering how you have the opposite wall decorated with the door. This is my real dilemma with my home office. I'm not sure if I should get rid of the door so that I have more room on the wall next to it or what.

Very cool that you won the West Elm contest. I think I've seen your office featured on other blogs too. I think I'd be spending my time on that little settee.. I love that little nook.
