SAD SAD SAD

Here is the view from my bed. I am tired of looking at this. I refuse to put another blue up on the wall. I know what I want…he knows what he wants. But is it on the wall? I have Martha Stewart Paint on the wall. Benjamin Moore Paint on the wall. Glidden Paint on the wall, and of course Behr Paint on the wall. But who is the fairest of the all?

I decided to go ahead and put these samples up so that I would be forced to paint. But I just don't know what I will paint, and its driving me nutto.

DSC_0700  DSC_0699  This came in yesterday and is now up on the wall. I am wondering. Its the Newburg Green again. Isn't this color just sexy?

Poor you. Not to make you crazy but I was the happiest in our old bedroom when I had the palest of yellow walls and a light blue ceiling like the sky.

Loving blues this summer, I'm sure what ever one you pick it's going to turn out gorgeous!

What look are you looking for? Do you want something soft and soothing? Or, do you want to add drama? Or, do you want a casual look? I think that Ben Newburg will do both add drama or give it a casual look. Depending on what you add to the space. Also, start priming the wall before you add a sample. That will help you get a true color. And use larger samples. If you paint a larger portion of the wall, you'll probably get a better feel of the color.

hang in there girl, you'll get it right! I REALLY like the dark blue. and if you don't use it, I just may;-)

That is a great color! I also like the second one from the top on the second column from the right - a nice medium but bright blue!

JUST DO IT!! I'm about to take it to Lowes or HD myself so I can get down to business when I get home!

your killing me! lol - Out of the colors on the wall and with your West Elm post - I'd suggest going with the blue second blue, second row closet to your leaning mirror.

The color will look good fall of winter and isn't too dark and would be a nice complement to your dark furniture while looking good with greys and light tones your like...just my .02$ cents! lol

I'm having the SAME problem. My living room ceiling and walls look like a patchwork quilt.

Here's my pic:

Wow, so many colors to choose from!!! I personally like Ben Newburg and think that it would look great on your bedroom walls.
I understand how hard it is to commit to a color but keep in mind that if it doesn't feel right you can always repaint.
Best of luck and I look forward to seeing which one you selected.

hmmmm...picking paint is so hard. perhaps it might help you narrow down your choices if you cross of what you DON'T want? like, if you hate purple...rule out any with purple undertones, you want spa...so to me - that would rule out the dark...and when you rule it out...somehow cover it up so you don't start to look at it again - once it's off the wall you won't be tempted to prolong the decision - and you'll be inspired to pick something :)

I love a grey in the bedroom, very seductive (sexy and relaxed at the same time). I'll be looking out for that post

Since you are going for a "spa feel" take a look at Ben Moore Wedgewood Gray" I used it on an accent wall in this client's bedroom and she loooved it!

If I were you I'd prime a VERY large section of the room and try painting the blue choices on it. Orange and blue are complimentary colors so they automatically increase their intensity when next to each other. So some of the blues are really not near as bright as you think they are.
