JUST ME!

My mini took these of me this weekend. I got alot of LIP  from my family over this outfit when we left the house because I wore it to my sons basketball game. They thought I should have worn sneakers and jeans. Well I said..”I DONT ALWAYS WANT TO BE IN SNEAKERS AND JEANS ON THE WEEKEND, GAME OR NOT, HMPH”. And to be honest this came rather easy to me because my wardrobe does not really have alot of “sneaker” outfits in it. All of my sweats have become my painting sweats so they have some form of permanent stain which is not that cute.

I was channeling JANET JACKSON when I put this on. The boyfriend jean with belt extra tight. I threw on a LAMB tee and tucked the front in only, some wedges, a cap, and was done in 5 minutes! My bag I think just made the outfit look more edgy. But I like it. And to be honest on our way home from the game my husband said, “DAMN YOUR FLY”….Talk about melting away.

Sneak Peak

I am done. I thought I would post a tease of what it looks like until Monday. I am happy with this piece and will do more. She wants another one, and lucky for her we will be out by IKEA this weekend to pick one up. It felt good having a project to do.

Shine Shine Shine

I received a few comments about how I was able to get this dresser so shiny. It was actually very easy. It just took longer. The key is letting a coat dry and then reapply. I probably did about 5 coats on this dresser. But each coat was dry before I reapplied another. That simple. I am not one that like to wait when I am doing projects, but this was so worth it. I was using the wipe on poly, but I put it aside and brought out the mama jar to get right to it. My daughter is a little “hard” on things if you know what I mean, and this poor dresser needed some protection!

Trendy Teez

Welcome our newest sponsor TRENDY TEEZ.

Look at the glamour in the teez below. These teez would look hot year round. They look great under a blazer for a casual work day, or with jeans and shorts when your in the mood for some bamm!  Trendy Teez also carries cotton teez without the “bling”. All shirts are preshrunk 100% cotton, which gives the shirts great fit and longevity.

They are made by the super talented Dymesha, who loves all things creative.  Be sure to pop on over to her Etsy shop and grab a tee or teez. Great prices, and great designs.

New project

Ok..well here it is. Do you recognize it now. I have not a clue in my mind how I am going to do the colors. So I just bought 3 colors for good measure I guess. It will be her nightstand, and I am pretty excited about getting this done. I had hoped to try and put together a headboard for my daughter over the weekend but had no time.

New to the group

I have wanted this photo for a while as well, and I popped in Urbanoutfitters one day and it was $19.99 which sent me skipping like a 3rd grader! I just love the anticipation of what her next step could be. Or what her thoughts are. Its not meant for my bedroom. My sisters bedroom yes.

She fits right in with my DJ. They keep me good and focused when I’m in the office!  They need names. Maybe ICE and CHILL. (LOL)
