Master Bathroom (Take 2)

These are small changes, but they are slowly bringing the "spa" feeling that I am looking for. I added the palms from the new Target Home Design Event for $19.99, and a basket from Bath and Body for $1.25. Also there is a oil burner from Bath and Body for $3.00, and I mentioned the cloth towels in a past post. The towels are just classic white which I love from Homegoods. I am thinking of doing something to the walls but I dont know yet. Everyone knows paint colors give me a headache. I need the perfect wall hangings and something for the window and I will be okay for "now". But there are few things I like....This pebble mat from CB2 will look great. But why pay $30+ when I can do this myself for about $15. And these great pictures from Target.
Here's How

Start with a rubber mat.
About 4-5 bags of your favorite rocks (depends on size)
Clear adhesive

*I would advise arranging them on the mat ahead of time so that you can see the layout*
The rest is easy..Glue the rocks to the mat and let it dry and keep it unmoved for about 24 hours. Easy huh? I thought so. I ran across this and cant wait to start. Be on the lookout!

Girl, I love your bathroom! It's so soft and serene and I love the finishing touches! And I love the diy mat!

Looking good! Some subtle art would be just the thing to jazz up the walls if you don't like color (and color in a bathroom can be rough!)

Wow, I can't stop thinking about the DIY river rocks mat now! Thx for sharing and I can't wait to see yours.
LOVE the orchid and potted plant you added to the bathroom. Definitely feels spa-like!
