Inspiration Board Remix

I found this board on clearance at Homegoods and had to get it. It is bigger than the old one, and I truly love adding to the board so why not increase the size. I painted it with a sample from Sherman Williams. Now this was my first time painting an object with paint. I don't like the satin feel on the wood. There is no luster. Did I do something wrong experts?

If the paint is not specifically glossy then it's not going to shine. You can hit it w/a clear coat of spray or clear varnish/finish.

spray some urethane on it (get a high gloss finish). I personally love it as it is though. You seriously are the Home Goods queen!
