FOUND

I finally figured out where these came from. Good ole Ikea...I reached out and reached out, but no one responded to my inquiry...so I went searching and found! Pat yourself on the back Tam! I think they are so cute and can be utilized in a cute way. Has anyone ever painted one of these if they own one? My friend is doing her office over and I think these would be great. Does anyone own this? Have you seen it in person? Thoughts?

I bought one of these in the as-is section of Ikea. I am using black spray paint on the outside and thinking of pink for the shelf part. I am going to have glass cut for the top for a glam look.

Omg I'm loving them. I doing a re-vamp of my florida room and those yellow ones would look adorable in there.

I just saw those somewhere. They'd painted them black and stacked two boxes instead of just the one. I don't remember where I saw it. Maybe This Young House?

I don't think I've commented before, but I love your blog! Don't know how I stumbled across it, but am glad that I did.

Hi there!

I think it looks pretty functional!!

A glass top is always a good accent for a table.... I've also seen tinted glass used for table tops and that looks really wonderful - if the wood is not too dark, otherwise you can't tell that the glass is tinted.

I saw a blond wood table with a green tinted glass top and it looked splendid!

I've never seen the table before but it comes as no surprise that it came from Ikea. I mean let's face it, they're great for a great price. What more could you ask for??

i've read that it's difficult to paint over ikea furniture (the finish is very slick). in my little experience with painting furniture i would worry that it would peel off very quickly and i'm not sure i would want to sand whatever it is they use to finish it. i like the look of them, i just don't know about redoing it...i'd definitely be weary of spray paint on these guys.

One of my fave bloggers, Jesse, used them as nightstands in her MBR! She did tweak them to make them taller:
