I have been in love... but they are the rave on ebay as it seems I am not the only person after one now, and I have lost all my auctions. Since I started buying the vintage cameras , I love looking at them and would like to expand in some from and these are perfect. Sitting on a coffee table, or on a shelf..FAB!
(I think this one is a bit to huge for my formal, but if I had a big ole room it would be perfect)

My mother has one that my great grandfather used when he was a newspaper editor. I want it in the worst way, but she won't hand it over.

I think that it would be a wonderful expression of your personality as a freelance & prolific blogger! Plus,wouldn't it be great to find one fully restored to occasionally type a very special letter on beautiful stationary like Vera Wang?
Try etsy. I saw some today. Go to the vintage section and I'm sure you'll find something. Saw several for $50 and up! Good luck ;)

I share all of the feelings...but i lost an auction again. i maxed 138 and walked away for a second, came back because i forgot and the auction was over because someone got me by 1 dollar...uhhhhh
