Yes, my wall is jacked up and a rainbow for all colors brown, and gray. The latest contenders are the BM Grant Beige, and a Sherman Williams beige. The thing with the BM beige is it appears more grayish beige on the wall than I thought. The Sherman Williams color is pretty much true to what it is and I actually like it.
Doesnt this color look more gray than tan?
The photos below are rooms with the Grant Beige. I love the color on THESE walls. But I cant get the same on my walls.
Have you used this color before? And why is BM paints the most popular paint brand?

The S.W. beige is very nice.
I like the first swatch on the wall too. The one that had the arrow next to it. It may just be the natural lighting in the house thats not giving you the color that you want.
Doesn't that just drive you batty? When something looks good in someone else's house, but looks icky in your own? I have weird colored wood trim, so I have to make sure everything compliments the golden oak wood we have. It's a total nightmare sometimes!
Don't use other photos of wall paint as a guide. The light in your house is going to have a much bigger impact than anything else.
PS: Grant Beige looks very beige to me.
I like the first color too!
I have Grant Beige in my bathroom! I have pics on DP and on my blog!
My only advice is to avoid the "fleshy tones"..... they look good in bridal stores... but no where else.
All my designers use BM or SW either one. IDK....
I like the Grant Beige although it looks gray to me
