My Tree

Ok here is my tree...I actually like the tree, as I bought it from Target on Black Friday for $99. It has full realistic features, just not as fat as I would like. I usually buy real, but hey...IT IS WHAT IT IS. As you will see there are some missing pink lights. I saw pink on Joi's blog and feel in love. I went to the "mart" looking for them and didn't see them. I checked out my other items, and there they were at the damn door. So I went back and bought 2 boxes. My daughter put them up on the tree and I liked the look. Well I noticed something different today. I shouted "WHERE ARE MY PINK LIGHTS"...I got nothing but silence. So I had to make that walk UP IN her room. She had this look on her face like she is shocked I asked the damn question. So I repeated it. Still nothing but the look. I had to "Say it loud" again....she uttered. "Up with the decorations"...I said, where..what decorations "daughter"? She said "At school on the door." Talk about mad at this child. I don't know. When they reach a certain age, they think we share, or they can take without asking. I don't know, help me somebody. But no pink lights..NO CELL PHONE, TV, or RADIO for that kid. This is not her first trip to the "YOU NEED TO ASK SHOW." So dont feel sorry for her. Feel sorry for my lightless tree that needs all the flair it can get.

Oooo weee, that is funny. Poor child got it for messing w/ the pink lights. Don't she know she is Getitgirl's daughter?! I feel you on that, though LOL

Give babygirl a break. If you can find a CHOCOLATE Christmas tree online, you can find some pink lights! LOL!

"Tis the season to be jolly......"

Pretty Tree too without the pink lights!

That is too funny. I really can't relate with three boys they have no interests in decorating anything. I guess that makes me queen bee, LOL!

As far as your tree maybe it will give you some comfort to look at my sad little tree. Come on, have a good laugh.

Hey now...she had it coming...madness (and they will give it to ya) will not be tolerated.
With that said...I know pink is the "it" color...but years from now you'll be "what was I thinking?" with those pink lights...I'm too tried and true with Christmas...maybe a little silver and gold....but keep it traditional for me!

The little adorable diva. Ok, I know it was wrong for her to take w/out asking but I couldn't help giggling. At least she brought some of that getitgirl style to her classroom's door!

I still think your tree looks so chic even w/ the missing pink lights.
