Eye For Antiques With Mr. Styles

Mr. Styles decided to be a contributer to the blog here and there, but only over things he likes and from his point of view. Ok. I can live with that.
We struck gold in the Design District! I mean talk about gem after gem. I literally found every shop, every small business that makes furniture, all of it. I found my "Sarah Richardson" contacts there. Meaning that when I watch her show she always has the best contacts for shopping, redoing furniture...etc. So I found mine. Let me add that there was one store that I had to tell my hubby "LETS GO" again....He loves anything old, and started to look to closely at certain things that I did not want near our house. Anyway there are some pics below. I didnt get anything, but he picked up on vintage Lacoste and belt buckles.

I dont like this, but posted it anyway. Who does this?

I saw potential in 99.9% of all things posted above. Change the fabric, and make room for something totally new and different. I urge everyone this new year to get out and find the gems in the their city. They are out there, believe it or not.

ouuuu the shape of that green chair...that in a tweed (bad uncle type suit) from the 70s and now we're talking....wow!

and that white couch at the bottom...it's calling my name...but alas...seeing that with my hubby or children on it...it just ruins the feeling...I'd like to just sit on there alone (I'm such a brat!)

I go shopping and find good deals but NO PLACE to put them! I sometimes want to buy a bigger spot and then I think about the bigger mtg that may come with it.
