Making It Work

Returning this light would have been to much of a hassle so I kept the damn thing. One thing I can do is install a light, and so I did. It actually looks pretty good in her room, and gives off just enough light. However, I used my phones flashlight setting to look up as I installed it in the dark…and well. My phones screen just cracked in my hand. I am so not happy with Sprint or the Samsung Moment at this time, but my daughter is happy with her light. So that’s what matters.

Overall its okay, and will work for her right now. I have painted the white and all looks good. I may even try to make her a headboard and omit the IKEA bed plan. I need a project to do.

XOXOX,

I'm with Ms. Chic a medallion would be awesome with the light fixture. I know what you mean about the phone, I hate when things like that happen.

I LUV the light:) I like the butterflies too! Can we get some more images of the room? Getting ideas from you as usual:) I am thinking of a lavender for the step daugther's room. She is only ten, but the real kiddy them is not for her. Gotta give her something girlie, but not so kiddy! The beige walls gotta go!

I think a ritzy ceiling medalion would look awesome with the light. Home Depot and Lowes have cute one's that are pretty cheap. It might not be exactly what you were looking for, but it's cute and glitzy without being too over the top.
