Well this year my Mothers Day was a week long event thanks to my Lover. Everyday that I came home he had something special for me. I am not talking monetary, because to me sometimes the money really has no place in special days. Its the thought.
I came home to dinner one day, breakfast the next, a massage session, a surprise visit to have lunch with me at work, and on Saturday he pulled out the truck and decided he would pick up anything I wanted without question. So I had a great long week of feeling extra special. My kids took over Sunday and cooked me breakfast, and read their notes to me. My daughter made a special letter titled WONDER WOMAN which really brought me to tears. My son and cant hold water and wanted to give me his gift on Friday! I love reading their view of me, and what they think of me as a Mother. I always hope I am doing my best, and giving them what they need. As they put it, I am.
