New project

Ok..well here it is. Do you recognize it now. I have not a clue in my mind how I am going to do the colors. So I just bought 3 colors for good measure I guess. It will be her nightstand, and I am pretty excited about getting this done. I had hoped to try and put together a headboard for my daughter over the weekend but had no time.

Girl...Good luck in putting that thing together! My husband did the work and I painted it. I think a glossy white would look FAB with some fun knobs and a funky lamp. Okay I know I sound weird:-)

How did you get your dresser so shiny? I used rub on poly and it gave it some shine, but not like that. Your dresser looks slippery! Make sure you do those nightstands like that. Can you imagine them lacquered white? HOT I tell you!

Thanks for the link love!

I've been wanting to try this one for a while now! Can't wait to see the final result!

Oh what about this, you know how everyone else stained the tops and side? Why don't you paint the top and sides that green and then do the drawers in white?! Guuurrrl!

Okay, I'm done;-)

Ahh you'll make it lovely. Have fun.

Exactly L.Duncan! paint the top and the sides the same green as the dresser, and the drawer fronts white, and if you really want to get with it. you can take a matching wall paper, even shelf liner and do the drawer sides. You won't be able to see that detail until the drawer is open, it adds a little extra something something.

I like the idea of glossy white all over or the dark and light stain combo

Good luck! I just finished a dresser and was totally worried about my color choice. It ended up looking awesome! I'm sure you'll do it perfectly!

Thanks for the images, I love the ones with dark stained exteriors and white drawers. They look so expensive and classy compared to the "original" look.
