Before and After The Campaign

Well I am overall happy with the results of this piece. I am going to be honest. White has really started to grow on me. I have always been into dark colors. But I am glad I took the leap, and gave this clean color a chance. I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon. Now I just need to pick a color for my walls. The mustard is getting old to me. We have had it since we built the house. TIME TO CHANGE IT!

Breakdown: EASY!

Glossy White Spray Paint

Salt (to clean metal)

Apple Cider Vinegar (to clean metal)

oh and primer. I didn’t use any poly this time. The water based was sickly costly, so I decided it is good just the way it is for now.

Hope you like it.

XOXOX,

TamStyles

Great tip on cleaning the metal! I'll use that :)

Oh a new paint color, great idea since your have your new bed and dresser....are you leaning toward grey? Just thinking.

I like mix of dark/white and painted furniture it helps balance the large dark pieces. And is so eye pleaseing :)

I have to admit, it looks great. I'll have to reveal mine soon, but I'm working a project that has all my attention at the moment. Like always. I'll have to use the cleaning tip for the hardware.

I love it in white! I learned the hard way about not using poly, at least on the top, of a piece that will serve as a usable surface. Hopefully this will fare better than my pieces did without poly :)

Wow, it looks great, just need to find that one little corner piece and it will be perfect. Hey even without it, it looks great. How about you fly up here and get to work on the furniture in my house, lol.

Wow, it turned out awesome! And I love the little peek at the rug. I know what you mean about color "getting old" At least you have some color on your walls. Mine are a builder's beige that photographs pink. YIKES!
