Feenin For The Flavor

Every since I saw the images of Jenna Lyons mustard sofa. I have been in mental aww, secretly. I am not sure the color is suitable for my kids, and the growth that will come with that. Although they have their own rooms, and another room aside from the den to entertain friends, I am sure at some point there will be bouncing bodied teens itching to leave their mark on the lightly colored banana boat. So for now, I will continue looking at them in aww until a resolution is made.

Isn't this just tasteful? TO ME, this says I got a little something something going on in my crib.

This sofa belongs (below) to Maria Killam of Colour me Happy. I cant wait to see the finished product of this space.

Most of the images above seem to be modern spaces. The use of the walnuts, and yellows are a great choice to tie in darks and lights.

Would you do a yellow sofa?

Don't think that I would do a yellow sofa, but a yellow settee in a bedroom or in the home office. However, these spaces are nice so I can see why you are in "awe"

Yellow is such a great color, and I actually like it for winter just as much as summer. And I love her two-seater version.

Yes I'd love a yellow sofa but only if it could look just like the mid-century modern set up in the 4th pic.

haha! at first when i looked at these images i thought "hmmm a yellow couch? they are nice but i don't know if i could be so brave..." then i remember that i have a yellow mid-century-ish style sofa (long & streamlined) that i thrifted sitting in my mom's basement. lol. i actually really love the shade...

but what i adore even more than the colour is the actual style of the sofa in the Jenna Lyons pic. I swear that rolled arm sofa is my new furniture obesession - i've added so many pics of them in various interiors to my inspiration folder in the past few weeks! when i resettle after india a rolled arm sofa with a tight back will definitely be my first investment!

Wow! Love those yellow sofas! You are making me want to change my mind about ordering the white sofas after viewing these happy, colorful beauties. Hmmm...maybe another set of slipcovers in yellow velvet???
