I wanted his opinion really bad, and crossed my fingers for a reply. Not every designer is able to reply to online comments, so I am just happy that he took the time to communicate back. I respect his opinion, and absolutely adore his presence as the “side kick” along side of Sarah Richardson.
Now on to his advice. He said a colored drape would be nice, but only if it doesn't steal away from the rug. So thinking caps ON!

I would be doing a merengue dance if I were you :). I love the blue curtains! Nice addition of color that doesn't take away from the rest of the room. LOVE IT!
I'd be happy dancing too. In fact I think I would be happy dancing if I owned that fabulous chevron rug of yours full stop!
THis room is gorgeous... I would love to just kick up and read a book on the couch.

I would def go for the blue curtains. They are soft and pretty and don't steal focus from the rest of the room at all. Great job!

I love the room & I prefer the blue. Still be open to other colors though. Again its is a fab space!
