Color Of The Year

Yesterday I attended an event hosted by Pottery Barn, and Benjamin Moore. The Benjamin Moore color of the year was announced. Vintage Wine is the pick. Dark, earthy, and rich. When I saw the color. I instantly thought warm island retreat in the heart of winter.

As a hint. Sounds like gray is getting the elbow by a few other colors. Whose side would you be on in the battle of the gray or not?

What are your thoughts on THE COLOR OF THE YEAR?

XOXOX,

Well, I like anything with the name "wine" in it and since I don't have a speck of gray in my house it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it went out.

I still love grey, but the Color of the Year is nice too, I like how you styled it.

I'm loving the vintage wine color, it is a rich shade.
I have a deep love for grey, so it would never go out for me. Plus it works with so many other colors.

I do like it in small doses. Maybe in high gloss in my powder room?

I love that color. I actually picked it as one of my top three for my next bedroom color. I love the gray undertone. I would pop it with orange, plum and eggplant colors. Accents in gold... I'm loving it. I really like your blog!

Aw, I think I will always love me some gray. I think this color will have to grow on me. I should take a closer look at it in person.

I love me some gray...this color has more of a red tint to it...so it will have to grow on me as well. I am not a red fan..its earthy.

I LOVE this. especially since you pared it with such beachy and light furniture. Definitely thinking outside of the box....

i really like that color. i wonder where in my house i would put a color like that. its so pretty. i cant wait to start getting ready to paint. i have a love hate relationship with it.

that color, i will say is one that i would rather put in a small space rather than a larger room unless it was like a media room type thingy

I think that the next color will have something to do with GREEN, seems we are all about sustainability and the color green. Did you know that green has the most range - from light to bright grass green to deep hunter green. I have always loved green with wine or green with rose.
