I originally purchased the GE Profile (posted here) to start with, and it had to go. I mean GO BYE BYE in every sense of the word. We kept it only for 3 days after the purchase, and could not take it anymore. So out with it went, and in came the FABULOUS LG CHERRY RED WASHER and DRYER. The LG washer and dryer work like a charm, and inspire me to create a space for me to enjoy doing laundry (well…as much as I can, right?). We painted this room a few weeks back, and its coming along very well. The purpose is to be ORGANIZED, COMMUNICATE WHERE NEEDED, and just look nice. Wish me luck on this project. The photo below is OLD and before the GE PROFILE came and went. I cant believe I posted this on the blog when I did..But hey keeping it real.
These are the lighting options. I love the look of something more old school, and traditional..but with an eclectic edge to it.
High Fives & Hugs,
Tamara Styles

I've always loved school house light fixtures they are just perfectly classic. High for keeping it real :)
Keeping it real. Of course!

Love the plan! You can't go wrong w/ Revere Pewter, love that color to death. The cherry red WD set is fierce. I'm digging the last 2 lights listed.
P.S. I want to give you a big ol' hug for your post on Blogging Now. It's like you saw right into my blogging brain & heart! Thank you.
I seriously love those cherry red appliances. I so want those, but I think they don't have the steam option? I was thinking that would be really handy ... I have the Maytag Neptune front-loaders and I cannot stand them. (5.5 years old now and unfortunately still going strong.) They vibrate like CRAZY and the washer ends up turned sideways (literally). It has beat up my wall. Do you have a tile floor? Do your LGs vibrate badly??
The cherry applicanes are TDF. So lucky & kudos to yuou for keeping it REAL! I think bloggers appreciate that so much..
love the red washer and dryer. love them! also love the light that is $137 love the stripes and colors to go with your paint options. ;) just saying...
You are keeping it real for sure! I appreciate that!
I know this is strange, but I love doing laundry and am DYING for a front-loader. One day...
I'm loving the light in the middle of the first row. I look forward to the outcome!
i like the pendant, 2nd row 1st column. where's it from? i've been looking for something nice for the dining room.
Love the new washer and dryer pick and color. I think the white is going to give the laundry room a brighter and more spacious feel.
I love the light fixtures, especially the one in the middle of the top row. Where can I find that beauty?
Gonna be fabulous I can tell.
Love your ideas for the laundry Tam! I'd tell you to opt for the pendant with the blue stripes... The blue and red would really work really nicely together. I'm envisioning... a cheeky candy-coloured laundry room, so cute I'd want to room in there! Keep up the good ideas!
Good for you! It looks like you are off to a great start! I have always lurved that color set! Who knew that washers and dryers could ever be attractive to the point that you can design a room around it?!!
The Old School Laundry Room...love it! The striped lighting fixture on the right is calling me.
