Remember this idea board I created for my office remix? Well I purchased the first part of the remix. The rug. I have seen this rug all over the net, and finally its here. Let me say, and be 10000% honest. It is just as beautiful in person as it is online. Plush, and the color is gorg. I can say the photos I took are pretty much true to color. I took them in the day, in great natural light. But what's holding me back from doing the rest? This blogs newest BFF.

How often do you REDECORATE a room? Is he right? Am I starting over just to soon?

I'm Queen of making changes to a room. I get bored pretty fast, but your room is perfect the way it is. If you want something new I say go for it. But only go for it if you can use the other items in your home elsewhere. You don't want to accumulate a lot of decor items. I'm sure that's why the Mr. is questioning the room remix.
Mine is an ongoing process. We just moved into this house about five months ago, and I still haven't achieved the look I want. Nice rug you have there. :-)
I love your room in its' current state too. Plus I may be willing to take the rug if you change your mind. I've been eyeing it too. lol!
I love the old room and I love the possible changes as well! I don't think anytime is too soon. If you think its time for change I def say go for it! Im very flighty lol if I get bored with something quick I must switch it up lol helps me function better! Don't feel bad... DJ feels the same way about me when Im swapping things out all the time lol he told my friends a couple of weeks ago when I was tossing things left and right that Ill buy what i feel is the best thing and in a month Itll be sitting outside to make room for this months next best thing lol true so true but when u thrift like i do throwing out a 5 dollar side table isnt that big of a damn deal lol
It seems like not too long ago when you started the office, but it's your room and it makes you happy, so I say go ahead and redecorate. I'm thinking every two years is not too bad to start over, especially if it's just a few accessories and the wall color. The rug does look plush and beautiful.
I think its great change it up a bit -- like your wall colors etc...o what else you have in mind, just keep the main things you already have -- like your desk -- LOVE!! and yes for keeping your gallery art wall - just change it up bit if you want

Ummm yeah so I sometimes I redecorate before I even finish....which I guess is really just changing direction....trying to justify my design ADD!!!

I think it's totally up to you when it's time to redo a room! If it's in your budget and will make you happy and inspire you - I say go for it!
I've always admired that rug and am glad to hear that it's as great as it looks online!
Seems the biggest change you would have to do is paint the walls. Not too bad, do what you want!!
ha my guy would say the same thing...but if i feel the redecorating FEVER coming, I usually just go for it! :))) I think a fresh take on a room always inspires me.
