The Wingback Chair

I am going to be honest. I was not always a fan of wingback chairs. My memory of wingbacks go back years and years, to watching way to much ALL IN THE FAMILY. Archie's favorite chair was one, but these days they don’t seem to look like these anymore at all.

So much has changed with how they are styled in the home. They are no longer used as just “favorite chairs”, but as desk chairs, and even dining table chairs. A harsh fabric is no longer a standard either, but rather all textures, patterns, and colors make wonderful choices.

This gorgeous desk from Z Gallerie is a wonderful example of one that would look great with a wingback. I added a few that tickle my fancy, and images of inspiration if change is something that you have in mind.
