I'm Thinkin?

"Neutral linens go with anything- I prefer it when there are some light colored elements in the room to tie back to then" - Anthony Todd (domino magazine August 2007)
Sorry I had no choice, its not online anymore! But see the turquios in the room with the natural linen color sofa? Cool, yes? I like how the rug brings it all together. But what color will I go with? I need to decide what chair I want to get redone next...
(I DONT WANT THIS LOOK!!!!!)
It's to matchy matchy with the vintage furniture in the same fabric.

(I really love this photo. The green is yummy)
(I love the look here. The stripe in black and white is hot!)

Do you ever stop? I love what you are "thinkin!"
The turk, the green, the stripe....all add an edge and a pop of fabulousness.

I love how your mind works, the green couch OMG and the stripe couch is to die for I really like the wall color in that pic. I am excited to see what you decide. I really love your blog and am so happy I ran across it.

I love the green and black and white sofas, too! I took a little trip to one of our favorite places this week, and gave you a Home Goods shout out on my blog, LOL.

Hemm...you're right the matchy room is TOO much! I wouldn't do the green-you already have a green room. The stripe I worry would be to mod for the classy look of the couch you just covered. The teal is nice...maybe to similar to doing a green theme since it's in the same family? What about trying to bring a more modern look to a maroon or deep red? I think ya gotta be careful with maroons since it has a bit of a dated feel to it already-just promise me no maroon velvet haha! Do you have that color somewhere already? Then bringing in the black in your woods like you've started with the side table you ordered. just some of my thoughts...

Oops I checked back-I guess your side table is brown...

Thanks for all the help ladies! What would I do without your help and links, and posts! JMAE3 the sofa wood looks black but its chocolate. and i picked the side table because of the color being similar to the wood on the sofa. you are so right about the red, green colors..even the teal..so we shall see..the green room (office) is across from this room so i do have to be careful.

Diva thanks for the shout out! I read it! Love Homegoods!
