I lusted over these frames at West Elm until I saw the tag per frame. I love the linen look. Very Chic. So I headed over to IKEA and bought a few frames to try this project out.
Supplies:
Frames
Left Over Linen from “Sophie”
Spray Adhesive
Marker
Scissors
Choice of photo
I did four frames. A single of me, and one of us on one side..and a single of him and us on the other side. The photo below was taken back in 1994. We were KIDS!
This was easy, and I had fun doing it.

This is a cute idea and would work great for my beachy look I have going on!!
Freaking LOVE IT! I need to know when you'll be opening your store....if you would make me some of these frames, I would buy them from you. :-) Work is awesome!
What a great idea! I think I'm going to try that for my sister's house.
Love the linen matting, very stylish and clean looking.

I peeped these in the background the other day. Love this look--great job!
I love the look of linen. It adds texture. You did a fab job as always!
ok, I see I'm going to have to pull out my box of "tricks" for the DIY. Looks great! Keepem' coming.
I love those linen backs. Very cool. And you know what? I love me some $3.99 Ikea picture frames. I need to buy some more, though. You just got me thinking that this project would look good with other types of heavily textured fabrics. Or that the material could be framed all by itself...hmmmm...
You have turned into a regular Martha Stewart! LOVE the linen mats. Nice work.
Love this. It came out great. You've been crafting a lot lately. I LOVE it!!!

Sounds like a little weekend project was just born...now if my hubby wouldn't mind me cutting up that orange linen shirt he never wears....I'm off!
