Where will it go?

My newest baby came this weekend. It’s the Studio Tripod Floor Lamp from Z Gallerie.  I have to say that I really like it. It gives off the greatest light. It creates a wonderful ambiance with the bulb that I used to. Here is my problem. Not sure which room to put it in.

I love those tri-pod lights I have two of them !I would definitely leave it in the formal living room it's helping to complete your look your going for! It looks as if you have travel the world. I think it looks great in there your living room is coming together nicely and the rug is to die for! Where did you get that rug? If you decide not to leave it in the formal then I would definitely put it in your Movie Room ;because it looks like a movie prop that's where I put mine I was trying to complete the movie look and feel and it would look great up against the Gary wall color! I hope you leave it in your formal living because it looks stunning in there!

My vote is the formal. It shows better there and you don't want to hide nothing that beautiful!

You find the coolest things! I'm so jealous. I'd. definitely leave it in the living room...it looks a little too 'light camera action' (if ya know what I mean) in the bedroom.

VERY VERY COOL!

I'm torn. It might work best in your master bedroom vs the living room, since you already have quite a few things going on there.

Love it in the living room! Liz, was totally thinking the same thing! I would tweak the living room a little to accommodate it, though, because the "legginess" of the light competes with the ladder -- but the lines of the legs really pull out the lines of the chevron rug and look great together. I would put the Nate Berkus piece in the place of the ladder, or something else tall & narrow that has visual weight to it. Cheers!

It looks so great in both rooms - I see your issue completely! I swooned over your rug in the formal living room! ox

Must be another one of those generationa things, but I don't like it in either room. To me it needs to be in a large media room or family room.

JMHO.

Unless you plan on making a "movie" in the bedroom, it should go in the living room! LMAO!

hmmm....i say the formal. seems too bright for the bedroom (though that could just be the picture), it seems to go really well in the formal.

Whoa... that's a tough choice.
The lamp looks divine and fitting in both the formal living room and the bedroom.
I LOL @ Liz's "...it looks a little too 'light camera action'". On that note, I vote the formal living room.

I love it! But I too was thinking you don't want folks thinking you are making movies in the bedroom. LOL. Go for the livingroom or your very cool office would be great.
