What is today?

Guess what today is? My Birthday! Yep. I am officially the big 32. I am so blessed to live another year. Thank you God. Lately I have been doing a lot of thinking about people in my live. This blog, blogger behaviors, and expectations. I was speaking to one of my favorite bloggers on my lunch the other day, and she pointed out that I have expectations. I am one that usually has expectations of people, and end up with my feelings hurt. I have learned to realize that some people really don't give a shit about me, what I think, or my feelings. Which is fine, but I need to not expect that people don't have those feelings. So this new year of age brings about a new way of thinking. When relating to this blog, my thought process is WHAT EXPECTATION TAMARA? And, it is what it is. Relating to my personal life. I have told those that need to know that I have dropped expecting things of them, and I feel a burden has been lifted from me.  The funny thing is, no one has ever communicated expectations to me, and how it hinders your feelings about people properly until this conversation. I am thankful for the new journey, my friend, and to see what I learn along the way in this 32 year of life made specifically just for me.
