Here is how I am feeling about one part of the wall. I mean business here. I cant say that I am going to get all this done before the year is up because of Christmas, but I am going to have my stuff together.

What if you had a series of three sunbrust mirrors. There's a great illustration here on the crate and barrel website.

3 would be great, but keep searching Home Goods, because I found a large sunburst mirror there this afternoon. I didn't get it because I already have one (smaller) in my entry, but it was dope, and only $79! This is too late, but Target also had a great one last year, so maybe when they get they global imports stuff (or whatever they're calling it this year) they'll have what you need.

Im with you - it needs to be much bigger. It looks out of scale here.

It should also be hung lower - anything higher than eye level is to high.

Have you determined which one will be your focal point and are you adamant about keeping the sunburst mirror? If not, why not try a large ornate gilt mirror or a grouping of four small prints. Maybe you can move the sofa to another area in the room, keep the sunburst mirror and place a table there or a chair that you already have on hand. BTW, you have an excellent blog. Everyday I'm finding wonderful and informative Blogs.

CSN has one just like that. Walmart sells it online for $50!!! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11375953

I don't think my little apt can handle another mirror right now. Please buy it so I can live through you. Oh, and don't forget the pics :)

I love sunbrust mirrors, I agree it needs to be larger. I can alos see a large oval mirror above your sofa as well.

I can also picture your mirror over your mirror side table - FAB! Keep plyaing with your ideas

Hey Tam,

Don't know if this has been posted, but larger would be better, but hanging it LOWer would make a big difference too. Try that and take another picture and see how you feel. Look how low the one that inspired you is hung.

Hugs!
