Okay…do you remember this piece? Remember I bought it from Marshalls for $12 because it was missing the mirror in the middle. Well I put some muscle in it, took some pointers from Michelle, and came up with something revamped that worked.
Here is the pattern I went with, and hot glued it down. EASY.
That Heirloom White is so classically fresh without being stark white. GET SOME NOW!
Looking at this photo is almost perfection to me. Once that rug is gone, and my floors are done it will be perfect. Honestly, I love where this space is headed. I don't think I even want my TV mounted at this time.
Even this picture of my husband brightens my nightstand up. This frame was black until I popped that Heirloom White on it as well.
I have been lusting after these sticks from Ikea for months. After seeing them in JCrew, I had to stop procrastinating and bring the home. They add texture in a natural way, and replace a fake faux palm tree that was in that same spot.
I made some other changes as seen in this photo…can you spy them?
XOXOX,
TamStyles

Wow! LOVE it!
Great job on everything! I want that dresser!
It sure does work! Very well.
Good job! I'm loving the freshness(?) the space has. Ummm...How long have you had that pin-tuck bedding?!
Your room looks great--my thoughts exactly with the mirror (frame) transformation. Love the dresser.
Girl, you're on a roll! LOVE peeping your new projects!
Yellow is my color! We have pops of yellow in our living room - like how the color is used in your bedroom.
I agree, there's no need to mount your tv on the wall, with your awesome starburst above it
Looks great. So smart to add some more size with that simple twist. Looks a lot more expensive than $12!
I LOVE that shade of paint....must copy that look now..LOL
Your room looks great!

I love the color of your walls - I'm looking for a good Yellow paint for my living room. What brand and color is your paint, if you don't mind sharing?
Thanks!

awwwww.. this room has really changed since i last seen it in person.. (sitting here thinking back to the good old days sitting on the big bed flipping thru mags..)
i have the same hoodie! good job!
I love the way it looks over your tv! It looks so good against the wall paint. Adding the sticks has given it more substance and a whole new look.
Love it! You made it look so fresh! Also love the new look of the blog.
Lawd, I love this space. hey, I still need to know the name of that store you and hubby went to on your 1/6 post. Back in the grove, my couch (that I paid to get upholstered but never scheduled for delivery) will be here Thursday. They had wrong adNeed to accessorize.
I would have never thought to add those sticks onto that frame - genius! And I can't get over how awesome your dresser looks. Great job!
Ok Tam StyleS!!! I now know why you are such an expert in what you do! The name "StyleS" says it all. Are you sure you don't want to visit the ATL to help a Sista out? The mirror was never needed because look at how well it looks with out it!
Luvz it..............
Move over *Myles of Style"
Beautiful work!
Tam, love it, and thanks for stopping by in the Cliffs to be exact {not just in Texas} :-)
Lakeitha--i got the comforter from target. I have had it for months..
Awesome job on the mirror! The room looks lovely, so cozy yet spa-like at the same time.
Great job Tam! Glad to see it worked for you!
P.S. It turned out so great I posted your project on my blog.
Excellent job!!
What brand makes the Heirloom White?
I love the scale of the sunburst now--PERFECTION.
I've already said this in your dresser post below, but WOW does that piece look fierce! GORGEOUS!
I am just really getting a chance to puruse your blog and I love it! Can I say luv it! I am hoping nobody comes in to bother me today:) I got some catching up to do, lol! I love the color. I have always been afraid of color living with an "overly" traditional blue husband. Our living room/dining area has chocolate brown furniture and I am looking to paint the bare, beige walls this summer! I am sure I will find some inspiration here:)
LOVE this room! The color the furniture everything. Great job.
Adding it to the frame is a beautiful idea! Your room is so pretty - it looks sunny and happy, yet sophisticated as well.
I think I may die if I can't get a bed just like yours. LOVE it!!!
