Ruffle Curtain

As usual I was at Tarjay just minding my own business, and spotted these ruffle curtains. I have always been a fan, but not of the price tag. This one was only $19.99 so in it went. They are a little short because they measure 84’, but would still work if I lowered the rod. If you like these. They also come in black which was SOLD OUT.

These run between $48-$78 on Urban Outfitters for each panel. Umm, NO. I refuse, but that’s just me.

What are your thoughts on the Tarjay panel? Should it stay or go?

Thumbs up or Thumbs down?

Hmmm... I don't think it gets the same effect across, but I don't hate it. Maybe adding some brightly colored ribbon to give it a pop.

My "Go" was a Thums down!

I like it as long as it's lowered to sweep the floor. I'd also do two on each side to give it a more layered full affect like the U.O.

I think the Urban Outfitter ones just pack more punch~ the Target ones don't quite "wow" (except for the price of course!) (:

Go with Urb! Just a thought..."What if" instead of lowering the rod find some really dynamite inexpensive (I no those two word do not really go in the same sentence)coordinating fabric and using no-sew, add it to the top to create a header piece with a pocket for the rod? That would still keep it inexpensive. But do it only if you still refuse to pay that Urban price! I usually can find some really great fabric on the remnant table of a fabric store. Like I said, just a thought!

I didn't love it or hate it but it had potential... Good luck on finding the right curtains, Tam!
